Accessibility Statement

Effective date: June 29, 2026 Last updated: June 29, 2026

Rieker Shoe Canada LTD ("remonte Canada," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to making remonte.ca accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to browse, shop, and get support on our website with dignity and independence.

1. Our commitment

We are committed to meeting our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11), and to providing our goods, services, and information in a manner that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities.

2. Standards we work toward

We are working to align remonte.ca with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the AODA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort: we review new and updated content, test key flows, and work to remove barriers as we identify them. Some areas of the site may not yet fully conform, and we are continually working to improve.

3. What we do

  • Consider accessibility when we design and build new pages and features.
  • Use text alternatives for meaningful images, clear headings, and labelled form fields where we can.
  • Aim for sufficient colour contrast and keyboard operability of key shopping flows.
  • Review accessibility when we add or update significant content.

4. Third-party content

Some content and tools on remonte.ca are provided by third parties (for example, embedded media, payment, store-locator, or review tools). We do not control the accessibility of third-party content, but we choose vendors with accessibility in mind and raise issues with them when we become aware of barriers.

5. Accessible formats and communication supports

On request, and in consultation with you, we will provide or arrange for accessible formats and communication supports for the information on this website, in a timely way and at no additional cost beyond any regular charge. Contact us using the details below and let us know what format or support works best for you.

6. Feedback — tell us about a barrier

If you encounter a barrier using remonte.ca, or if you need information from this site in another format, we want to hear from you. Please tell us what happened, the page or feature involved, and how we can reach you. We welcome your feedback and will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
